Most likely you are using one list for each different item. Please create Multiple Lists and then add Multiple Similar Items under the correspondent list. Then it will group multiple items under each list and display lists in multiple columns. Simple Link Directory is a general purpose Link directory plugin with front end link submission feature. It can be used to create any type of directories of links including Whatsapp, telegram group links etc. as long as the links are web links like https://chat.whatsapp.com/invite/IuwBNaO4oaaEtdgsAWgNkY

Do I need to pay each year for the theme to keep it active?

The theme licenses are lifetime. No need to pay yearly fees. The theme can be bought with or without the plugin. The plugin can be bought separately and its personal and professional license require yearly renewal. The master license is lifetime. Though even with the personal or professional licenses the plugin will keep working even if you do not renew. The renewal is required for support and plugin updates.

I cannot save my List. delete item or add new items to the List

If you are having problem to save List or, delete item from a List or add new items to the List then you have run into a server setting limitation. Your server has a setting for how many form fields it will process at a time. So, after you have added a certain number of listings, the server refuses to save the Lists. The server’s configuration that dictates this is max_input_vars. You need to Set it

Can Links or List items belong to multiple categories?

Not directly. List items belong to Lists. A List can belong to multiple categories. You can also copy a Link to multiple Lists easily. Lists are the building blocks of this plugin not individual List items.

Is there an import function from a CSV or could we use WP All Import if it is a custom post type?

Yes, there is an Import/Export feature with CSV file. You have to import according to the CSV format the plugin needs. Sample CSV is provided inside the plugin. 3rd party import features were not tested. Most likely they won’t work.

The ShortCode Generator does not do anything when I click the Add/Generate Shortcode button

It has come to our attention that with some versions of 3rd party visual editors the shortcode generator does not work without any explicit reason when you are in the Text mode. Please switch to the Visual mode and see if it fixes the issue. Open a support ticket with us, if it still does not.

How do I show Lists by Category?

You can use the Tabbed Category mode to display all your Lists by Categories. To use the Category Tab mode: Create some categories from SBD->List Category. You can use small 80 by 80px images with each category to show in the tab.
